The Honduras Liga Nacional Clausura is the second of two short tournaments that make up the Honduran football season. The Clausura tournament runs from January to May, with each team playing 18 matches. The top four teams in the Clausura standings qualify for the playoffs. The playoffs are a single-elimination tournament, with the winner of the Clausura tournament being crowned the Honduran champion.
